Happy Wednesday, friends! I seriously cannot believe that the month is almost over and that Christmas is only 5 days away. FIVE DAYS people! I don’t know about you but I still have yet to finish my Christmas shopping. Not working in a mall has really slowed down my shopping habits. During the rest of the year it’s totally a good thing- but right now I kind of miss those speedy shopping trips I’d make on my lunch break.

Okay, maybe that’s a lie. You can only miss the mall so much during the holiday season. My heart goes out to all the people in retail working those terrible hours with the (mostly) terrible customers.

Anyway it has been a hot second since I did an Instagram roundup on here! Honestly I haven’t really been posting as frequently as usual on the Mia Goes Shopping Instagram page. Maybe it’s the move or the stress of the holidays- who knows. But I’ve still posted some adorable, classic winter outfits! These are some of my favorite winter pieces and they are all total closet must haves.

Lets start out with this beauty. I posted this outfit here but I couldn’t resist raving about it again! It’s honestly the perfect, classic winter outfit. I mean- how great is this cardigan!? It’s so cozy and warm and looks amazing layered over just about anything. Not to mention that my monogram necklace would be the greatest gift.

Now lets move on to this classic New England winter look! Bean boots and a faux fur trimmed jacket? Yes, please! During the first snow here in New Hampshire I grabbed Molly and jumped outside. It was her first time seeing snow ever and I couldn’t wait to see her reaction! To be completely honest it seemed like she couldn’t care less. She likes to stick her little puppy face in the snow but that’s about it.

As for this look- you already know that this coat is my favorite! I rounded it up (including sizing details) in this post so you can get the lowdown before you buy. But trust me- it’s the greatest thing ever.

Now here is one of my favorite new sweaters. I snagged this beauty during a Cyber Monday sale and I’ve basically worn it once a week since. It’s super soft and the perfect length to wear with a cozy pair of leggings. My far one of my favorite purchases of the month!

Speaking of favorites- this beauty is another winner! Although I’m still a little iffy on the fit details (read more on that here) I can’t resist a cute little bow detail!

And now for the most classic of all winter looks. Pajamas! Nothing beats a good pair of PJs during the holidays. I found these beauties from one of my favorite pajama retailers and haven’t stopped wearing them since they came in the mail. They are the most comfortable joggers ever and look so preppy classic when paired with my favorite striped long sleeve tee. And these adorable pom pom slippers were a major Instagram hit!

Okay so the list of links below is long- but click through to see all the products above

I’ve saved the best for last! I talked all about this outfit in Monday’s post but since these boots have been a big hit on Instagram I felt like I should post it now too. Aren’t they amazing?! I don’t know what it is, but every time I put them on I instantly feel so tall and skinny. And that’s a giant win in my book! At first I didn’t think I could pull off this look. But now I’d like to think that I’m rockin’ it. I’d also like to point out that these boots are under $50 and super budget friendly. Totally worth it!

Some constructive criticism, you describe all items as “these beauties” or “this beauty”. In fact in this post alone it’s used 5 times and it’s quiet reptative in your other posts. I understand the point is to click the link, but word variation goes a long way. The over use of “these beauties” is something a lot of bloggers do and, in my opinion, can turn a reader off or completely lose the true value of the article of clothing you are talking about. Moreover, if I see an item I like I’d much prefer liking for this cute red top versues trying to figure which of the 5 beauty link to click because I don’t want to waste time going to the wrong link

Hi Mary! Thank you so much for your comment and feedback. Mia Goes Shopping is still fairly new in the world of blogging and I am still working to find my voice and what works for both me and my readers. I typically write my posts as if I was speaking or having a personal conversation and the “beauties” phrase is something I use frequently in every day conversation. I’ll be sure to look out for it in future posts to ensure I’m not over using it. Thanks again for the heads up! Happy Holidays!

You have a great blog and there’s a lot of potential. It’s nice to see something different than the same stuff as the other blogs
