Coming atcha live with this super easy and casual holiday outfit!
Let me start out by saying the beginning of December has been crazy for me. Sean and I moved from Maine to New Hampshire and getting us settled and getting Molly settled (that pup doesn’t love change) has been a bit crazy. Not to mention that I’m now far away from my official photographer, aka my sister, so I haven’t been able to take any outfit pictures. But I’m back y’all with some brilliant advice for you- don’t ever move during the holidays.
But you’re here for the fashion. So lets get down to business with this easy holiday outfit
I stumbled on this sweater online during a Cyber Monday sale. I had yet to buy something with a bell sleeve for the winter AND it was on sale. So naturally I had to hit “add to cart”. It’s absolutely adorable and super comfortable, but I will say that I was a little disappointed with the fit. I like my sweaters to fit a little longer and this one hits right at the top of my hips and looks a tad boxy. But I tend to think everything shorter looks boxy on me because of my larger bust. Either way- still 100% worth it. And how adorable does it look with this classic sidewalk skirt?! It makes for such and easy casual holiday outfit!
This skirt is such a versatile piece to have in your cold weather wardrobe. It’s super soft wool blend, lined and it’s super flattering on everyone. Oh, and it has pockets! And as you know everything with pockets is 100% better. You can easily dress it up with a nice pair or heels or dress it down with boots and a flannel, like I did here. I’ve had mine for years and it has held up so nicely. It’s by far one of the best pieces I own!
Now these boots were a total impulse purchase for me. Every day I’d scroll through my Instagram and see blogger after blogger wearing cute over the knee boots. They all looked so classy and fabulous and instantly made any casual outfit look like a million bucks. I started doing some research to find my own lovely pair of “blogger boots” and found this amazing budget friendly pair. I might have maxed out my credit card to get them (which is bad I don’t suggest that) but I love them.
But now, because I have yet to hear anyone else mention it, I have say that over the knee boots are a pain in the butt to put on. Worth it because they make your legs look so long and thin, but don’t think that you can throw them on in a hurry while you’re running out the door.
Each piece is amazing alone- but throw them all together and you’ve got yourself the cutest little casual and easy holiday outfit! And I am just in love with it
