I don’t know about you- but I’ve been seriously struggling with the winter blues lately. I guess I didn’t realize how much I actually didn’t like the snow and cold until I was back in New England buried up to my ears in the fluffy white stuff and freezing my butt off. As much as I wish I could change Mother Nature, there’s little I can do to keep the snow from falling. But the one way I’m beating the winter blues is with a fresh new pink winter outfit!

I talked about pink being an amazing and unexpected fall color in a previous post, and now I’m back to say that pink is equally as pretty for winter. Trading in the magenta tone of the fall for a pretty pastel pink is a great way to add some new colors to your wardrobe without having it be too bright and overpowering for the muted tones that the winter brings.

One of the best parts about pink is that it matches virtually every color of the rainbow. You can easily pair a light pink sweater with navy trousers for a trendy winter work look. Or try a pink tee under a grey cardigan for a casual twist on two winter trends. With the options actually being endless you can’t go wrong with adding some pink pieces to your closet!

I snagged the sweater above from Loft during their most recent 50% off sale. If theres two things I’m loving right now it’s pink and stripes! This sweater is just so cozy and easy to wear and I’m just so excited that I was able to scoop it up at such a great price. I can’t wait to dress it up by wearing it over a chambray button down because everything looks good with a chambray! And how adorable would this be for Valentines Day?! I’m wearing a size small and I find this sweater to be TTS. It’s a wider knit and very chunky and fits a little oversized. The subtle boatneck is awesome and really stands out when you layer this sweater over a button down or turtleneck.

You could also easily wear this entire look with white denim during the spring/winter transition. That’s another great thing about pink- you will still be trendy and cute when the winter ends! See?! I told you it was a great color addition to your closet.

And let’s take a second to talk about these pretty camel booties. The heel hight is perfect to make them wearable during the day but also give you a little hight. They have this AMAZING perforated texture that is just enough to add a special element to them and make them stand out. I am a huge fan of having a good camel colored bootie in your closet- they match everything! And like I said above, these are TTS and very comfy.

Now that I’ve shared my new favorite pink pick here is a little roundup of other pretty winter pinks that you can scoop up for under $50! Because it’s always nice to find something new to wear without completely breaking the bank.
