If you read my official Rocksbox review post you already know that I’m loving this service! It has been amazing with all the moving around I’ve been doing lately. (It’s so easy to change my address each time! No phone call required!) I love having tons and tons of statement jewelry but hate finding storage for all of it. And honestly, I tend to not re-wear my statement pieces all too often.
In this months box I sent feedback to my Rocksbox stylist stating that I’ve been wearing a lot of neutral and lighter tones this fall. I was sure to mention that I was really loving the pink trend and was in need of a good statement earring to wear with a camel colored turtleneck. She picked this beautiful tassel earring and I could not be more obsessed! It was honestly like she read my mind. I was also super impressed with how they packaged these babies to ship. Each little tassel had a little plastic tube around it to protect it and keep them neat and tidy. Not only did it make my tassels arrive perfectly, but it signaled to me that I might be the first person to wear them! I just might have to keep these beauties!
I have been really loving lighter colors this fall. I don’t know if its because they make me feel a little less pale as my summer tan fades or what, but I’ve been reaching for them nonstop. I scooped up this amazing blanket scarf during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I’m just smitten! I was so excited for the weather to cool so I could wear it and let me tell you- I’ve been wearing it constantly.
The great thing about this scarf is all the colors it has. Virtually every tone is featured in this pretty check pattern so it matches with warm colors as well as cool tones. Seriously it’s such a versatile piece to have in your closet! I love having tons and tons of scarves to pick from when the weather gets cold just as much as I hate organizing all my blanket scarves. But this scarf is really all you need so it’ll save you from the dreaded task of organizing and folding tons and tons of scarves. Or maybe folding scarves doesn’t bother you. Either way, you still need this. It’s just under $30 and amazingly thick and cozy.
For this look I decided to wear it over my shoulders for extreme coziness and less bulk. Like many blanket scarves this one is a giant square. So I simply folded it into a triangle and threw it over my shoulders with the point pointed toward my butt. Easy peasy! I would also like to mention that I fully intended to wear a cute pair of camel colored booties with this look. But it was cold- so I just had to throw on my trusty ol’ Bean boots!
