It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with fall. It’s also no secret that I’m obsessed with this vest from J.Crew. Roughly 90% of my posts feature this beauty and I’m not going to stop wearing it anytime soon (and no, that statistic might not be accurate). Part of my love for fall comes from my love for easy and casual fall dressing. For some reason it’s just that much easier to get dressed when the leaves turn. I love a good comfy look and fall just means that you can pack on the layers! I’m the kind of person that frequently struggles to re-wear outfits. Part of me thinks because I worked in retail for so long, but maybe I just have a shopping problem that forces me
Happy Thursday everyone! These October weeks seem to be flying by and I can’t believe that the month is almost over. I have so much to look forward to in November, the most exciting being my big move to New Hampshire! Okay, so it’s not like it’s that far away from where I am now in Maine. But a move is a move! And this one means that I will once again have an apartment to decorate for the holidays. And lets just say- I am PUMPED for it! But back to the reason why you’re here. Comfy and cozy sweaters under $60
I nearly jumped for joy when I saw that this vest had been restocked for the season. It was my absolute favorite vest last year and I’m so excited that it’s back so more people can purchase it in all its fuzzy glory! It popped up in my store last year when I was still working in retail management. I immediately fell in love and purchased it almost instantly. As the season went on my clients would always see this furry beauty and ask me “how exactly do I wear this thing?!”
Fall basics are basically my favorite thing. Maybe that’s why I’m so in love with the fall season, who knows. Anyway each year I take to my favorite budget friendly retailers to search for some basic, budget friendly sweaters to fill my closet. And this year I’m pretty sure I hit the jackpot!
Back in August I opted to get an Old Navy gift card instead of my regular check from Ebates. It was only $25 but with the great sales that Old Navy has been having I knew I could make it last. And besides, every little bit helps me to stay on my shopping budget! I started searching the site weekly for new fall arrivals to see what goodies I could find.
One of the things I’ve really been loving this fall is the appearance of new colors on the fashion scene. The typical fall neutral tones (like burgundy, brown, forest green and tan) seem to be becoming a thing of the past as they are replaced with cheerful spring-like tones. And I’m really feeling the switch this year! …
Once upon a time I hated going to L.L.Bean every year before school. Each year my family would take the long trip to the Freeport store where my little sister and I would pick out new backpacks and lunch boxes for the school year, embroidered and personalized with our names. And although that sounds amazing to me now I absolutely hated it then. I just wanted the basic backpack from the department store like every other kid. I’d throw a fit and refuse to
